The word furusato (故郷) means home town, but it means more than just that. It encapsulates a nostalgic feeling of home and represents all the feelings that accompany the idea of home.

It takes a long time for me to complete an album. Throughout the process, there are challenges and successes. But it is here that I feel the most at home; when I am in my creative space, freeing my imagination and experimenting with sound and rhythm. Part of this journey includes my loved ones, my friends and family. They are with me in thought all throughout the many hours I spend recording and editing sound. This place best encapsulates the essence and nostalgic feeling of home.

This album was originally released as a series of sketches in 2019.

Soon to be co-released by Tonchinkan Records and Galactic Acid Library on cassette :)
